The Wedding Festival! Come visit our booth at The Wedding Festival at South Towne Expo Center this Friday and Saturday, January 28-29. I'll be there with lots of display cakes and yummy cake samples! I'm there to answer any questions or just talk with you about what your plans are for your wedding cake. This is such a great show to see so many talented Utah wedding vendors. Congratulations to Michelle and Lynzell! Michelle and Lynzell are such a gorgeous couple! They are too cute together! When I finally got to meet them, I had such a great time. Lynzell had me cracking up with laughter several times throughout our meeting. They were just so easy going and fun to work with! They held their reception at the Sheraton Hotel in Salt Lake. The room was so pretty! I've done this cake design in different variations several times before, but this was the first time I had done the design in chocolate fondant with the chocolate fondant lace appliques. |

Congratulations Melanie and Beau! Melanie and Beau are such a fun couple. They are both so talented, very creative and artistic. I really, really loved their idea for their wedding cake, and it turned out even better than I had pictured it in my mind. It really is one of my favorite wedding cakes to date. The cake was square and was covered in white fondant. Melanie wanted the look of gold vines and leaves with deep red roses growing up the sides of the cake. |
